Cycle through ’s-Gravelands' Outside places to your violin lesson

In the beginning of the seventeenth century Rich Amsterdammers built stately homes in ’s-Graveland. The gardens of these stately homes now belong to Nature Monument. It's possible to have a very pleasant cycle ride through one of these outside places of 's Graveland to get to your violin lesson. You can be inspired by the bird song on the way, just like composred such as Messiaen, Elgar or Vaughan Williams. The famous violin piece 'The Lark Ascending' tells the story of a Lark that flies higher and higher,  it's one of my favourite violin pieces with a profound meaning. The famous pianist Gustav Leonhardt was born in 's Graveland and has undoubtedly walked through the same woods.

Wonderfeel Festival

There's a festival organised in Schaep en Burgh 's Graveland every year in July. The six wonderfeel podia and six mini walks are spread out from each other in an area of 25 hectares. They offer something for everyone, Mozart to Steve Reich, van Rameau to Pärt. This is a perfect stage to show you violin playing after you have had violin lessons. The public listens in a relaxed way on benches, in beanbags under the trees or on a mat on the grass. Come to Violin studio Diana, I listen attentively to you wishes and help you achieve your goals during the violin lessons.

The Violin lessons

Come for violin lessons at Violin studio Diana if you live in 's-Graveland. I give feedback to pupils not only about musical development but also technique. It's important that feedback keeps happening, I say 'you are never ready with learning  to play the violin.' Even the most famous violin soloists can continue to learn, that's what's so fun about having violin lessons, there's so much to learn. Playing regularly helps to get ahead with your violin playing, I recommend one violin lesson per week. I hope to see you soon at Violin studio Diana. More information?
